VMG Lignum construction receives LVL certification for the U.S. market

VMG Lignum construction has reached an important milestone in its international expansion – the company has been granted the ERS-5261 certification, authorizing the official supply of structural LVL products to the United States.
The certification process lasted nearly one and a half years and included comprehensive product testing, technical documentation review, and verification of manufacturing compliance. On February 20, 2026, the ERS-5261 certification was formally issued.

The certification enables VMG Lignum construction to supply E2.0 and E1.4 strength grade LVL products to the U.S. market. The United States represents a strategic export direction for the company and is one of the largest and most advanced structural timber markets globally, characterized by clearly defined technical standards and high quality requirements.

According to global LVL market data, North America accounts for approximately two-thirds of total LVL consumption worldwide, while around 70% of global production capacity is concentrated in the region. The total active global production capacity reaches approximately 4.8 million cubic meters per year. This is a mature and highly regulated market, where compliance, reliability, and supply consistency are key success factors.

The U.S. market is one of the core strategic directions for VMG Lignum construction. With the ERS-5261 certification in place, the company strengthens its position in this segment and continues to expand its presence, aiming to become a reliable long-term partner in the U.S. structural timber market.
